"The highest education is that which merely does not give us information but that which makes our lives in harmony with all existence" - Rabindranath Tagore
What a profound statement from one of India’s greatest and wisest educationists and linguists!
The ultimate goal of all learning is to enable one to be a good human being, contribute to the society as much as one possibly can, and coexist with one another in harmony. That precisely is the mantra, that we atPodar International School, follow.
The Podar Education Group from the very beginning has been driven and motivated by the traditional Indian values of honesty, integrity and service which eventually leads to peace and harmony. The father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhiji, by being the very first President of the Anandilal Podar Trust serves as a testimony to this fact. Our school has a mission of developing and equipping our children with cutting-edge learning, thus making them ready to embrace global challenges of the 21st century and position themselves as global solutions provider. Indians have been making a huge mark in multinational conglomerates in top positions and the demand for skilled Indian work force has been more than ever before.
In order to achieve our mission, we have skilled teachers who continuously undergo learning and development, keep themselves updated with the best educational practices employed in the field of pedagogy and transfer their learning to our young learners thus making them globally competitive and successful.
It is with great pride that I take charge as the new principal of PIS, Wardha, and I look forward to partnering with all our parents to ensure that our children are given the best learning and they are supported well in every area of their growth and development. While teachers do their best to ensure a progressive learning climate within their limited interactions with the students, it is the parents who the students look up to as their ideal Role Models. Hence continual parental mentoring and guidance along with active teacher-student engagement will lay a strong foundation on which our children will stay rooted to our values and culture and at the same time blossom into wonderful globally responsible citizens.
So together, we shall ensure that we inculcate the right learning, impart the right values, and foster a sense of harmony that will make Podar International School a special place for our children’s development, wellbeing and prosperity.
I wish all my students a happy and transformational learning journey at Podar and I also wish all the parents a great time ahead in their association with us.
Kind Regards,
Medha Nair
