Investiture Ceremony 2024-2025

A ceremony of investiture is symbolic of a myriad of different important aspects of human life- growth, maturity, belief, faith, duty and sincerity, to name a few. These solemn aspects gain heightened gravity when it is young blood that is being invested with the power to lead, the power to change, the power to amend, the power to guide and most importantly, the power to learn.

In keeping with this, Podar International School Vadodara, to ensure a well-rounded education to its meritorious students, is home to a Students’ Council with a term of one academic session, each.

On the 9th of July, 2024, in the Investiture Ceremony, the Students’ Council was formally invested for the academic session 2024-25. After the badging ceremony, the whole council marched proudly to the stage and took the oath which was lead by the School Principal, Ms. Shalini Bhatt.

Each student of the school was instilled with a similar sense of pride and admiration on hearing their words of motivation. The Podar International School family hopes that the Student Council for the scholastic year 2024-25 witnesses the zenith of success and progress in its term.


Jamie Knight visit to PIS Vadodara - 2024
Students of Podar International School, Vadodara couldn’t have asked for more as it played host to Jamie Knight, ranked among the world’s top 10 football freestylers and multiple Guinness World Record Holder, on his first visit to Vadodara. He conducted the training sessions for the students on his freestyle and demonstrated his renowned techniques.
Hands-on Activity based learning - 2024
#Model of a water filter Podar International School, #Vadodara Students of Grade 6 made a model of a water filter and demonstrated the separation of mixtures by filtration doing experimentation by using different materials such as cotton balls, sponge, paper towels, coffee filters, wood chips, small gravel, stones, char coal, chlorine balls, grass, garden soil students came out with excellent way of presenting their ideas for water filters.
Field Trips - 2023

Field trips provide authentic, hands-on, experiential learning opportunities where students can connect what they are learning in the classroom, in a real-world context. Podar International School, #Vadodara Moving ahead with the same thought Podar International School #Vadodara organised a field trip to #Kamati Baug Museum for grade I & II under the theme "Footprints in Time." Students visit to National Young Authors Fair 2023-2024
Students of Podar International School, #Vadodara had the opportunity to participate in the World's Largest Book Writing Competition - the National Young Authors Fair organised by Bribooks in December - January 2023-24.The event enabled students of Podar International School to learn book writing from global authors and then write, publish & sell books globally and win amazing awards. Annual Day Celebration 2023-2024
Podar International School#Vadodara celebrated its 9th Annual Day of Grade V and VI on 4th December, 2023 with zeal and energy. It was woven around the theme ‘Sound of Music’ - Celebration of Indian Musicians and their Legacy. Script revealed how Successful artists create timeless music, connect with audiences emotionally, and push boundaries within their genres. Musicians often build legacies through a combination of talent, innovation, and cultural impact. Gandhi Jayanti Celebration - 2023
On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti on 2nd October 2023, Students of Podar International School#Vadodara dressed like Gandhiji, Shastri and Kasturba Gandhi and enthusiastically celebrated the birth anniversary of our Father of Nation through special Assembly.. Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration - 2023

Peace, prosperity and positivity is all that we require for a healthy living. Lord Ganesha is believed to be the bestower of all Riddhi (prosperity) & Siddhi (achievements). We at Podar International School #Vadodara welcomed our dear lord Ganesha on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi in a unique way. The new family member was welcomed with lezim dance and a skit by Grade 6 kids and the event was directed by Grade 8 young Podarites. The kids enjoyed a lot and we at Podar family had a visual delight of tremendous creativity. Podar International School Vadodara wishes you all a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.

Biz Kids Bazaar - 2023
The students of Podar International School #Vadodara actively participated in Biz Kids Bazaar on 16th September 2023. The mega event was inaugurated by Vice Principal Ma'am, Mrs.Ila Shah. The school’s ‘Young Entrepreneurs’ module culminated into the ‘Biz Kids Bazaar’, organized by the students within the school premises. This bazaar provided opportunities for the students to discover and explore their talents, dreams and abilities and focused on showcasing their entrepreneurial efforts to the visitors. The students sold products which they had created during the sessions. Students showcased their Handmade Manjusha Art and also organized the game zone. The students, parents and staff enjoyed all the stalls.
Hindi Diwas Celebration - 2023
To commemorate and celebrate the popularity of Hindi throughout the nation, Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14th September each year. To celebrate this day, PIS Vadodara organized the Poster and Slogan making activities for students of grade 3-5 to inculcate love and honour for Hindi language.
Thematic Culminating Event 'Plants and Animals' - 2023
students of Podar International School, #Vadodara celebrated their Thematic Culminating Event on Subject "Plants and Animals" as a duty to our future. For this event, our students dressed up as various animal and plant species, including domestic animals, wild animals, aquatic creatures, and trees, plants, shrubs, and more. In this culminating event, the students first presented a Parade based on the theme of their particular class, and then they danced to a song about animals and plants. Parents took pleasure in seeing their ward's work which was done during this Thematic Unit.
Teacher's Day Celebration - 2023

“The best teacher don’t give you the answers , they spark within you the desire to find the answer yourself." A teacher is the eternal guru and guide whose selfless dedication and investment has shaped generations from times immemorial. Teacher’s day was celebrated on 5th Septmber,2023. To honor the hard work and veneration of teachers towards the teaching profession, students of Grade 9 to 12 on the occasion of Teachers day, created a fantastic aroma of respect, care, affection and love for the educators at Podar International School#Vadodara. Teachers were escorted to the venue by each student. They took over the entertainment programme through a melodious song and dumb charades game, thrilled their teachers and made the day enjoyable, stress-free, memorable and emotional as well. House Competitions - 2023

House competitions takes place 4 times in a year. In our school *The house* system ensures that students from different grades and sections come together with a common goal of success. Podar International School #Vadodara organized Inter House Competition for its students under Theme "Young Entrepreneurs". Students of each House collected materials based on advertisement of products. Students of all grades participated enthusiastically. House Competitions boost the holistic development of students. Students of Podar International School, #Vadodara had a rally for Swach Podar Abhiyan in the whole school for awareness about swacchata and oath taking ceremony by Scientific Association of Podar International school Vadodara(SAPIS) on 22 August 2023.
Independence Day Celebration - 2023

Podar International School,#Vadodara celebrates the Independence Day on 15th August 2023 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event aims to commemorate the struggles and sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to instill a sense of unity and patriotism among the participants. The celebration commenced with the warm escorting of Principal Ms. Shalini Bhatt by Sr. And Jr. Head boy and Head Girl. The celebration further commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony . The national flag hoisted by the Principal Ma’am, amidst the melodious rendition of the national anthem. The solemn moment felt everyone with a sense of patriotism and unity. A heartfelt speech was delivered by our honourable Principal Ma’am who eloquently captures the essence of every event. The cultural segment of the event showcased the richness of our nation's diversity through vibrant dance performances, songs and thought-provoking skit and quiz. Students from various grades participated in these performances, which highlighted the cultural heritage and unity of our nation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants, volunteers, and contributors who made the celebration possible. This day reminding us all of the importance of cherishing our hard-earned freedom.

DLB Book Fair - 2023
The idea behind this book fair was to encourage children to develop early reading habits. It was an amazing event with the glimpses as the proof.
Leadership Training - 2023
“Leaders are not born but made in the four walls of the school." We at Podar International School, #Vadodara believes to work together to take the school to newer heights and resplendence for this academic session on 2nd August 2023. The Head of our Institution Honourable Principal Ma'am, Ms. Shalini Bhatt conducted Council Members Meeting to develop the leadership skills.
