Aashadi Ekadashi, an important festival in Maharashtra, marks the beginning of the pilgrimage (waari) to Pandharpur. At Podar International School #Ojhar day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, aiming to educate students about the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival.
The day began with a symbolic waari procession within the school premises, replicating the traditional journey to Pandharpur. Students and teachers participated, carrying palanquins adorned with tulsi plants and chanting devotional songs.
Students presented traditional bhajans dedicated to Lord Vitthal, accompanied by rhythmic dance performances. The lively beats of dhol and taal added to the festive atmosphere.
A speech was delivered by a students explaining the historical and spiritual significance of Aashadi Ekadashi which highlighted its importance in Maharashtrian culture and its role in fostering devotion and community spirit.
A teacher shared the insights into the religious and social aspects of Aashadi Ekadashi, emphasizing its relevance in today's context and encouraging students to appreciate cultural diversity.

First Transport Committee meeting was conducted in Podar International school #Ojhar for the session 2024- 25 on 5th July 2024.
The meeting was initiated with the introduction, welcome and felicitation of Mr. Pravin Sonawane RTO Officer Nashik, Mr. Sudhir Singh Senior RTM Nashik Region, Mr. Vijay Bhalerao, Sr. Transport Supervisor by the hands of Principal Dr. Jasintha Parke Ma'am.
Administrative Officer Mr. Vishal Mendhe explained the Agenda of Meeting with brief explanation about -
1. Matters pertaining to safe transportation of school children.
2. Police Verification and Training of all Transport staff.
3. Information about Bus Emergency Evacuation Drill &Training conducted.
4. List of RTO documents of the vehicles & Verification of the same.
5. Information about the Route of Podar International School Ojhar
6. CCTV cameras & GPS System in all school buses.
Mr. Pravin Sonawane( RTO Officer Nashik) personally inspected the implementation of the transport policies of the school with all the required documents.
He appreciated the smooth functioning of the Transport and motivated to keep following the same. Parent member appreciated and thank the school for providing all the necessary facilities to their children and maintaining the same.

The celebration began with an inspiring speech by Teacher who highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and achieving inner peace. The Principal Dr.Jasintha Parke Ma'am encouraged students to incorporate yoga into their daily routines to enhance their overall well-being.
The event officially commenced with a serene Yoga prayer led by our yoga instructor. The prayer set a peaceful tone for the day, invoking a sense of calm and mindfulness among the participants.
