School recently conducted an enriching activity under the captivating theme ‘Pattern Prism’ for students in Grades I to VIII. This creative journey invited students to explore and bring to life the patterns that surround us every day.

Grades I to V: Students explored the concept of patterns through the playful and vibrant medium of Pattern Lolly Sticks. Using colored sticks, they arranged and created unique sequences, helping them identify, replicate, and interpret patterns in a hands-on, interactive way. This activity encouraged young minds to develop keen observation skills and laid the foundation for understanding complex patterns in a fun, accessible manner.

Grades VI to VIII: Older students embarked on a journey of Doodle Pattern Art using colorful sticky notes. Through their doodles, they expressed their creativity and interpreted patterns in new ways, combining colors, shapes, and symbols. This approach helped them understand how patterns can be both structured and free-flowing, inspiring them to see connections between art and everyday patterns around them.

Through the Pattern Prism module, students are not only learning to observe and interpret patterns but also realizing how these can be applied to solve real-world problems. This theme empowers them to develop critical thinking skills, encourages creative expression, and provides an exciting foundation for innovation.

School Organised Donation Drive Campaign 0.3 Under The Guidance Of Hon'ble Principal Dr. Malini Sen & Vice Principal Mr. Pravin Somvanshi. The children of class 1 to 5 donated items that are useful in daily life i.e. Any food grain, Pancake, Biscuits, Soan Papdi, Small Packets, etc. Students of 6th to 8th standard donated Wheat, Rice, Moong Dal, Toor Dal, Onion, Potato, etc. 9th and 10th standard students donated Any food grain, Moisturizer, Cold Cream, Detergent Soap, Talcum Powder, Bathing Soap, Shampoo, Hair Oil, Hand Towel, Face Towel, Candle, etc and donated to the students of Matoshree Vruddhashram and Asola, Parbhani by Our Hon'ble Principal Dr. Malini Sen.

All the students of the school participated enthusiastically in this activity and contributed to this social work. School is a replica of society. Just as the school gives direction to the society, it also contributes significantly in changing the condition of the society. School held a special assembly to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights. The word Diwali (or Deepavali), derived from ancient Sanskrit, means "row of lamps." Lighting these lamps during Diwali symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil, representing hope, joy, and new beginnings.

For Hindus, Diwali also honors the story of Lord Rama, who, after 14 years of exile, defeated the demon Ravana and returned home in triumph, welcomed by the light of countless lamps.

Celebrating Navratri at Our School

On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, our school held a special assembly filled with vibrant performances by our talented Second Standard students. They showcased plays, dances, songs, and shared the Thought of the Day, all beautifully highlighting the significance of Navratri.

During the festival, we honor the nine divine forms of Goddess Durga, each representing different virtues and stages of her epic nine-day battle against the demon king Mahishasura. The celebration culminates on Vijayadashami, a day that symbolizes the triumph of good over evil.

Throughout the nine days of Navratri, we worship the nine goddesses: Shailaputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri, and Durga (or ParaShakti).

Celebrating the Birth Anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi Ji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji

At our school, we proudly celebrated the birth anniversaries of two iconic leaders, Mahatma Gandhi Ji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji.

Mahatma Gandhi, revered as the Father of the Nation, dedicated his life to the cause of India's independence. Born on October 2, 1869, his philosophy of non-violence and truth continues to inspire generations.

We also honored Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of independent India, born on October 2, 1904. His vision for strengthening the education system and empowering women left a lasting impact on the nation.

Our school conducted a Mock Fire Drill for students, teaching staff, housekeeping staff, and transportation staff. The drill aimed to educate everyone on how to act during a fire emergency and safely evacuate from a disaster scene. On August 29th, our school celebrated National Sports Day to mark the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player famously known as the "Magician of Hockey." The Girls Welfare Committee conducted an important session on Health, Hygiene, and Discipline. The subject of the Health and Hygiene Session at school was "Tips Every Girl Should Know." This session was directed for classes VI to X and was initiated by our Honorable Principal, Dr. Malini Sen.

During the session, Dr. Malini Sen counseled the pupils on several key topics. The main objectives of the workshop were to:

This special day, observed on August 23rd, marks India's historic achievement in 2023 when the nation became the fourth country to land on the moon and the first to touch down near its southern polar region. The declaration of National Space Day celebrates India's growing prowess in space exploration.

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, is celebrating "Shiksha Saptah" from July 22-28, 2024, commemorating the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
