A fire mock drill was conducted at Podar International School – Igatpuri to spread awareness about fire safety and emergency preparedness. On hearing the alarm, students and staff swiftly evacuated their classrooms and assembled at the designated safe area under the guidance of teachers. Fire officers demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers and explained essential safety measures to be followed during emergencies. Principal Mr. Sandesh Khatal Sir shared, “Our students must understand that safety and presence of mind are as important as academics.” The drill was an informative and successful exercise that reinforced the importance of safety awareness among all.

The 2nd Open House at Podar International School – Igatpuri was held on 4th October 2025, welcoming parents, students, and visitors for an engaging and informative day. The event provided an excellent platform for showcasing the school’s academic programs, extracurricular activities, student achievements, and learning environment. Inter-school events were organized including Podar Spellympics – an Inter-School Spelling Bee Competition for Grades I to IV, and Podar WizzKids – an Inter-School Quiz Competition for Grades V to VIII, hosted by Podar International School, Nashik (ICSE).

Hindi Diwas was celebrated at Podar International School – Igatpuri with great enthusiasm. A workshop titled ‘Bridging The Gap – Child Development From Theory To Therapeutic Solution, IEC’ was conducted at Podar International School – Igatpuri.
