To raise the awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilise efforts in support for mental health Podar International School, #Ichalakranji provides an opportunity for all the students and teachers to participate in different activities to fulfill the objective of 'World Mental Health' day.

School organised a special assembly where students performed excellent skits. Essay competition was conducted for teachers on topic "Mental health is my right"

A colourful Garba and Dandiya Rass rejuvenated the vibrancy of the Navratri!

Podar International School, #ichalkaranji celebrated Navratri with great spiritual enthusiasm and fun.

School organised ‘Nazrana Dandiya Raas’ in which students of all grades participated with great enthusiasm. All the students attired in traditional dresses added to the festive mood. Students along with teachers all danced on the beats and tune of ‘Dandiya’ very devotedly with their heart out creating a vibrant and exuberant show.

Event was conducted in various categories like Best attire with dance, Best pair performances (Mother Child & Father Child), Parent Group Performance.

The students and parents also attuned to the Garba dance graciously in the school premises. Event was conducted with the grace presence of Chief Guest Mr.Vinay Mahajan sir, Guest of honour Mrs.Ashwini Khatmode Patil Ma’am and PTA members. Respected principal Mr.Ishwar Patil sir motivated the gathering and congratulated all the winners.

Podar International School,#Ichalkaranji has celebrated International Yoga Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Yoga is the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, the harmony of the soul, and the symphony of life. Our respected principal Mr. Ishwar Patil sir participated with all the students and motivated all.

These competition are judged by,

The Behaviour and Personality Development Team of Podar International School, Ichalkaranji is implementing certain actions to monitor the improvement and overall involvement of the council members in the different activities, events and competitions.

The School Council is the important factor in school and to improve the quality of mentorship and their presentation is essential for their betterment. The school has awarded the students council members to appreciate their excellent performance.

With a great thought of motivating students for regular attendance along with their overall performances, the behaviour and personal development team has also awarded students and the classes by appreciating stars along with outstanding classes.

Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has celebrated International Women's Day.

Each year, March 8 is observed as International Women's Day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women from all around the world. It serves an opportunity to inspire efforts to end gender biases and discrimination and achieve gender equality.

Special program was organised which included Student-Teacher group song, Students Group Dance, Teacher Speech, and all the lady staff including Teachers, House Keeping staff and Transport Staff were presented flowers to mark the importance of this day.

Students of Grades V to VIII from Podar International School, Ichalkaranji have enthusiastically participated in 3D Designing and Printing Prototyping Competition 2022-23, Kolhapur Hub.

Our students have presented their wonderful models with the explanation and bagged multiple awards. All the winners have received certificates and trophies. It's a proud moment for our school and our students are adding the Golden Feather in the cap of PIS Ichalkaranji with their great achievements.

Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has celebrated National Science Day with full enthusiasm and zeal.

National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28th each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928. For his discovery, Sir C.V. Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. Various competitions were conducted in school to arouse scientific knowledge among young scientists like Students group song, Best presentation of Show and Tell competition, Poster making competition, Teacher Speech, Art Gallery Inauguration etc. The day is observed to spread awareness about the importance of science and its contributions to society. The celebration of National Science Day in schools is a crucial event that helps in promoting scientific temper among students.

Students of Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has enthusiastically participated in Parivartan Drive.

The theme for the year Pleat by Pleat revolves around clothing and its impact on the environment. The drive urge the students to rethink before purchasing clothes because buying too many clothes can cause a detrimental cost to the environment. The students participated in various activities and acted as agents of change. The students interacted with the people in and around their school locality. It created awareness in the form of walkathons, put-up stalls with games and reused products, and most importantly share the message through the medium of Social Media, placards and banner.

Students actively participated in Walkathon and displayed their clothing materials which was prepared by the recycled clothes.

Students of Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has participated in SOF Olympiads with full enthusiam and zeal and came with flying colours.

Competitive examinations promote students' scientific reasoning and logical abilities, assist students in evaluating their understanding of cyber concepts, assist students in assessing their mathematical abilities and understanding and assist students in evaluating their English language skills and use. Students are honoured with Certificates, Medals and Trophies for their meritorius achievements and added a golden feather in the cap of PIS Ichalkaranji.

Let’s celebrate 74 years of of being a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic.

Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has celebrated 74th Republic Day.

The day holds importance because the Constitution of India came into force and India became a sovereign state on January 26, 1950. While India gained independence from the British Raj in 1947, it was this day that India became a republic.

Entire School campus was surrounded with a feeling of patriotism. Students presented housewise March Past, Welcome Song, Welcome Dance, Skit, Mime Act, Silent Drill, Closing Dance. Students were awarded for their Outstanding Achievements in Scholastic and Co- scholastic areas.

Chief Guest for the event- Mr. Atul Ambi Sir, Journalist, Head of Lokmat Newspaper and Mr. Ravikiran Chougule Sir, Editor, Weekly Amateur Newspaper.

Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has organized the Culminating Event- Weather Watcher and Fashion Fiesta for Grade I and II.

Weather Watcher event showcased the learning of the students like different types of weather and its characteristics during and clothes used in different seasons in the course of Thematic Unit Weather Whatever. Grade II students have learnt about the different festivals of different states, types of clothes, sources of clothes, the process of making clothes from fiber, types of fibers, different kinds of clothes wore in different seasons, different characteristic of clothes throughout the Thematic Unit ‘Clothes’.

During the event, students and parents have participated enthusiastically with dress up of various season costumes. The event included weather song, weather dance, skit, speeches and parents fashion parade. All the students and parents enjoyed the event thoroughly.

Students across Grade I to X from Podar International School, Ichalkaranji were invited by Rotary Club UNITO Cyclothon for enthusiastic performance and motivation.

Students portrayed Maharashtra’s Cultural Lezim dance along with Yoga demo and Aerobics Hula Hoop under the Fit India Movement. All the students were extremely happy and energetic and given their best performances. They have motivated the Cyclothon participants.

Heartfelt Gratitude to our respected Principal, Mr. Ishwar Patil Sir for providing such a great opportunity to showcase our talents and to be a part of this grand event. Our School received Appreciation Certificate and Medal for motivational performance.
