Dahi Handi Celebration
Dahi Handi is an entertaining and competitive event associated with Krishna Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna.
Podar International School, #Chhindwara, celebrated this vibrant festival with enthusiasm. The event featured a clay pot filled with yogurt (dahi) and butter, hung at a height. Teams of young men and boys formed human pyramids to reach and break the pot, all while being cheered on by the community with singing, music, and celebration.
Our Podarites thoroughly enjoyed this activity, gaining valuable lessons in teamwork, cooperation, and harmony.
A mock drill on fire and evacuation was conducted at Podar International School, #Chhindwara. The drill aimed to create awareness among students and staff about firefighting techniques and the procedures to follow during emergencies.
The "Evacuation" operation began immediately after the fire alarm sounded. Students were swiftly evacuated from their classrooms and gathered outside the school. Adhering to all safety and precautionary measures, the entire building was successfully evacuated within 5 minutes.
This exercise proved to be a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.
The festival of Rakshabandhan celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters—a festival of promise, respect, and care.
