I heartily welcome you to Podar International School, Chalisgaon. It is an endeavour by the Podar Group led by Dr. Pavan Podar to prepare students of the 21st century through its education arm Podar Education Network. PIS, Chalisgaon’s journey towards education excellence began in 2011 with an ideal mix vision of futuristic education and holistic development of students.
Mahatma Gandhiji the first president of Podar Education Trust once said: "By Education, I mean an all-round drawing of the best in child and man - body, mind, and spirit." As such, education becomes the basis of personality development in all dimensions - moral, mental, and emotional. At Podar, we challenge our students with a unique educational experience which emphasizes a seamless blend of academics, sports, performing arts, community and experiential learning program. We believe in this very concept ‘Traditional value and Modern Thoughts’ when it applied to the simple but refined approach of Mahatma Gandhiji, it provides us with a new dimension of educational development.
We believe that every child is born unique. Each child has a unique brain network that shapes how he/she takes up and responds to stimuli. One way of teaching does not work for every child. We need to teach the way they learn, not force them to learn the way we teach. Education should foster real understanding. Schools are not only assembly lines of syllabus and exams but the world beyond it. We help children to make meaning of life and develop the muscle to lead life successfully. For this, we go beyond academics to include life skills, values and habits.
PIS, Chalisgaon is an eco-system school where different factors have an effect on the child.
