Self-expression in portrait painting transcends the mere replication of physical features; it delves into the soul of both the subject and the artist. We are thrilled to share the achievement of one of our teachers from the Art and Craft Department. He was awarded by the Deepak R. Patil Art & Culture Foundation. His paintings were exhibited in Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, during the Monsoon Show. Remarkably, he was the only one awarded amongst all the students from Maharashtra who pursued a Master's in Portrait Painting.
