With immense pride, we share that Podar International School and Junior College, Sangli, has brought home three prestigious awards from the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) Conference, held in Dubai from 10th to 13th January 2025. This grand event witnessed the participation of over 900 delegates representing 78 schools from 30 countries at the 4th edition inaugural session at Le Méridien.

Our talented students showcased exceptional skills, leaving an indelible mark on the international platform. A total of 13 delegates represented our school, and three achieved notable accolades:

• Amani Tagare – Clinched the title of Best Delegate in the Azad Hind 1943 Committee portraying the iconic character of Usha Mehta, earning high praise for her remarkable oratory and leadership skills.
• Aditya Gholap (Delegate of the Russian Federation) – Won Diplomatic Commendation in the ECOFIN Committee.
• Omkar Kumbhar (Delegate of the Russian Federation) – Secured Diplomatic Commendation in the UNCSTD Committee, demonstrating brilliant analytical and persuasive abilities.
