Recognising the importance of nurturing mathematical competencies among students and encouraging the practical application of Mathematics, the Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) annually for the grade VIII, IX and X.

Aryabhata Ganit Challenge unfolds in two stages- Level 1-School Level Competition (Offline) was conducted on 28th August 2023 and Level 2-National Level Competition (Online) was conducted on 30th October 2023.

From Podar International School, #Chandrapur total 75 students were appeared for level 1 out of which 3 students got selected for level 2 scoring highest marks in level 1.

Among top 100 students from Pune region Master Yash Valmik Somase from Grade IX has successfully completed the National Level Competition. His achievement and proficiency demonstrated in the field of mathematics reflect his commendable dedication and skill.

He has awarded with a merit certificate by CBSE for his Exceptional problem- solving skills, Logical reasoning capabilities, Mathematization prowers, Analytical thinking aptitude, Precision and accuracy in mathematical, applications and Effective time management during assessment.
